Granola Bars Recipe Ingredients
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup honey
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups whole grain oats
- 1 cup crispy rice cereal
- ½ cup raisins
- 2 tablespoons flax seed
- 2 tablespoons pumpkin seed
- Chocolate (optional)
Preparation Method
- In a fry pan, melt butter, honey and brown sugar together over medium heat. Bring to boil. Reduce the heat and cook for 2 minutes. Add vanilla and stir
- Mix oats, rice cereal, flax and pumpkin seeds
- Poor liquid mixture over dry ingredients and mix well to combine
- Poor into baking pan (12×9) and press down on mixture to fill whole pan
- Set in fridge until firm (approximately 1 hour)
- Cut into bars
- Dip in melted chocolate
