Plants are not exactly medicine
All well-researched medicinal plants – valerian, St. John’s wort, ivy, etc. – now exist as extract and in the form of tablets, liquids, etc. But how does a finished medication differ from the traditional infusions or tinctures which were often still prepared at home in Granny’s day?
