The cough season is just around the corner; Prospan® wishes you a safe turn around all the way to autumn and throughout winter.
We suggest below a number of ways in which you can prepare yourself and boost your immune system!
- Fend off a Cough
Our advice to you is to keep a distance between yourself and people who might have been infected as well as to stay away from crowded places with excessive smoke and poor ventilation. Do not forget that frequent hand-washing, preferably with soap and water, will help you minimize the spread of germs.
- Eat Wisely
Your overall health highly depends on what you eat! Dark leafy greens, berries, salmon, and sweet potatoes, help build up your immune system’s defenses. However, sugar, gluten, and processed foods decrease immune function.
Adding warm drinks that contain lemon, ginger, and tea to your diet will benefit your body, as they have incredible anti-inflammatory properties.
- Sleep Well
Getting at least eight hours of sleep can improve your immune function. Alternatively, sleep deprivation suppresses immune system function.
- Ventilate Your Home
Home ventilation is recommended to expel pollutants and bacteria from the indoor air and will result in making you feel more comfortable. Bad ventilation can lead to several health problems including headaches, allergies, and asthma.
