إن بروسبان، علاج السعال العشبي الأول في العالم، موجود في معظم المنازل منذ 69 عاماً. وعليه أجري العديد من الأبحاث والدراسات السريرية على عشرات الآلاف من المرضى للتوصل إلى مستخلص بروسبان المصنوع من ورق اللبلاب الجاف والخالي من الكحول بنسبة 100%. وبهذا فقد أثبت بروسبان فعاليته وأمان استخدامه للأطفال منذ يوم ولادتهم.
من المهم جداً أن يقوم الآباء بالاختيار الصحيح مع أخذ الحيطة والحذر عند اختيار الدواء المناسب لعلاج حالات السعال لدى أطفالهم، حيث توجد العديد من المستحضرات التي تحتوي على الكحول بنسب متفاوتة. يُفضّل الابتعاد عن المستحضرات التي تحتوي على الكحول في منتجها النهائي عند علاج الأطفال ما دون سن الواحدة، ويُنصح باختيار المستحضرات الخالية من الكحول كلما أمكن.
عند قيام الآباء باختيار بروسبان، يمكنهم الاطمئنان على أطفالهم لأنه الخيار الآمن والطبيعي، بالإضافة إلى أنه خالٍ من السكر و خالٍ من المواد الملونة، مما يجعله علاجاً يثق به الأطباء والصيادلة والعائلات حول العالم.
