Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV)
It affects the respiratory system and typically causes mild to moderate colds in adults, but it can lead to severe bronchitis or sometimes severe pneumonia in children and infants.
Possible Complications:
- High fever
- Severe coughing
- Wheezing during breathing, especially during exhalation
- Rapid breathing and difficulty breathing, which may lead the patient to prefer sitting rather than lying down
- A bluish appearance of the skin due to low oxygen levels
